ECS 606: Digital Signal Processing (4)

Learning Objectives:

An understanding of digital signal processing fundamentals and techniques is essential for anyone whose work is concerned with signal processing applications. This course introduces the basic concepts and principles underlying discrete-time signal processing.

Course Contents:

  1. Sampling and multi-rate systems.
  2. Oversampling and quantization in A/D Conversion.
  3. Properties of LTI Systems.
  4. Digital filter design.
  5. Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)
  6. Parametric signal modeling
  7. Application to speech/audio processing.
