Convocation 2014

Convocation is the most important academic event of the year. It is a time of celebration for the graduates, faculty, and all other members of the Institute. During the convocation ceremony, graduands and the collegium don academic regalia that symbolize their official roles. Also, the dignitaries share their wisdom emphasizing on the values that IISER Bhopal endeavors to practice and teach.

The highlight of the convocation ceremony is the award of degrees approved by the Board of Governors. Graduating students are called to the stage by name and are presented with their official degrees. This year, the pioneer batch of Ph.D. students and second batch of BS-MS (Dual Degree) students of IISER Bhopal will receive their degrees. In addition to the award of degrees, the ceremony includes several events such as the academic procession, award of medals, student valedictory address, and addresses by various dignitaries.

We invite the graduands, their families, faculty, and all other members of IISERB community to attend the SECOND CONVOCATION CEREMONY and experience this joyful occasion. We will be delighted to meet you and look forward to celebrating the success of our graduates with you.
